Intensiv Ortho-Strips Opener - Oscillating diamond strips for opening of tight interdental contact areas in orthodontic treatments (stripping). In orthodontic treatments that require a reduction of the mesio distal dimensions of teeth, contact areas often turn out to be very tight and overlapped. An adequate interproximal stripping methodology ("InterProximal Reduction" = IPR) includes the initial opening the contact areas. The mesio distal enamel reduction is needed to create necessary space to adjust teeth in a correct and harmonious position.
Product description:
° Serrated oscillating diamond-coated metal strip.
° Diamond grit-size: 8µm.
° Two versions: One Sided: diamond coating on one strip side, one version each: left (L) or right (R); Double Sided: diamond coating on both strip sides.
° Instrument with mandrel for oscillating contra-angle.
To be used in combination with Intensiv Swingle, WG-69 LT Ortho (with light).
Indication: Opening of tight interdental contact areas initial within the orthodontic IPR procedure.
